Elliot Butay is a senior at ORU getting ready to graduate with his Bachelor's in
Music. He has been playing guitar around Tulsa for 8 years, first getting
involved at his local church's youth worship band with MSPA teacher, Tim
Schaefer. Elliot loves to share the joy of music with his students and prepare
them for their future goals. Elliot is in the Tulsa based Instrumental Band,
Guitarchestra, he has performed various solo acts, and is the lead guitarist
for the local Tulsa band, Carnegie. He recently returned from New York City
attending a film scoring workshop at New York University. He is pursuing
composition and film scoring as a career as well as performing guitar and
teaching.
