MSPA Winter Recital – Sunday, December 3, 2017 *Tentative Date
Location: First Christian Church (913 South Boulder Ave)
*We are continuing with our “split recital.” The first half will consist of all Private Lesson & Rock 101 students & their reception. The second half will consist of Music Theatre students & their reception.
** Recital times are all tentative. Times will be confirmed closer to Recital Date
Recital Part I – All Private Lesson/Rock 101 Students
Student Arrival – 1:30pm
Recital – 2:00-3:45pm
Part I Reception (Fellowship Hall) – 3:45-4:15pm
Recital Part II – All Music Theatre Students
Student Arrival – 3:45pm
Recital – 4:15-4:45
Part II Reception (Fellowship Hall) – 4:45-5:15
We are looking forward to a wonderful performance from our talented students. Attendance is open to the public at no cost; family & friends are invited. Cake & punch will be served immediately following the recital. Professional DVDs will be available for purchase.
MSPA Dress Rehearsal Schedule & Information:
Saturday, December 2nd – Dress Rehearsal
*Please arrive at least 10 minutes to your rehearsal time segment. Please be dressed in recital attire for pictures, which will be taken before each segment practices.
**All times below are tentative. Times will be confirmed closer to recital
ROCK 101 – Please arrive by 8:45am. Practice will be from 9:00-9:30.
Voice – 9:30-10:00am
Piano – 10:00-10:45am
Drums/Guitar/Violin – 10:45-11:15am
Music Theatre – Arrive at 11:00am Rehearsal/Sound check 11:15am-12:30pm (All MT students will need to arrive at 11:00am so that they can get into all their costumes and have pictures taken).
Please come dressed in recital clothing. Photos will be taken. After students have had their picture taken & taken their turn on stage, they are released from rehearsal. Exception: All music theatre students will be needed for their entire rehearsal window.
Private Lesson Students – Dressy, semi-formal
Music Theatre Students – MSPA tshirt, black pants and black jazz shoes. Additional costume garments or accessories may be worn as directed by Music Theatre teachers.
