Experience the Excitement of Music Theatre! Grades K-10th
Receive training in:
Class meets weekly from August-May for an hour and a half on Mondays (5:00 – 6:30pm). The first performance (The Lion King) will take place at MSPA’s Winter Recital the first Sunday in December (December 6, 2015). The second performance (101 Dalmatians) will take place at MSPA’s Spring Recital the second Sunday in May (May 8, 2016). *Dates are tentative, but fairy usual.
This class is for K-10th graders. Experience the excitement of performing while receiving training in singing, acting & stylized dance. Voice training focuses on tone, projection, diction, interpretation & other vocal techniques. Dance training includes coordination, balance, body & spatial awareness, & vocal control while dancing. Acting techniques include character development, stage directions, improvisation & physical expression. Geared toward young artists developing a skill set for musical theatre.
Mondays 5:00-6:30pm at MIDTOWN LOCATION (31st/Harvard) $55/month
Students will have recitals twice a year that allow them to experience the excitement of performing what they have learned. They will have additional smaller performances throughout the year as well.
There are no classes in June and July due to Music Theatre Camps.
